Due to the proximity of the university holidays for the New Year, to those students who have submitted their student visa application to the Consular Services Office of the International Student Office of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad(FUM)and are waiting to receive the result or receive their pre-visa, it has been announced that:
Please plan to receive your visa, and arrange the date of your arrival in the Islamic Republic of Iran for referring to the Student Administration and receiving consular services from April 9, 2022, onwards.
Obviously, before the above-announced date, it is not possible to provide any services to dear students. It needs to be mentioned that the student will be responsible for the problems in the process.

With the official authorization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is offering an Master's degree program in Islamic studies in English for the first time in Iran. This program consists of 32 courses including 14 specialized courses and a thesis.
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this program is offered online in the first semester; in the following semesters, it will be held in person or online as per the global guidelines as well as the protocols of the Iranian National Headquarter of Coronavirus Disease Management.

On February 25th, some of the presidents and faculty members of the universities in Afghanistan met Dr. Moazznzadeh, the head of International Student’s Office, and discussed about expanding the academic cooperation.
Dr. Moazznzadeh introduced FUM and said that FUM has more than 1700 international students. She believed since two countries shared the similar history and culture, they can develop their interaction and cooperation. She expressed her ideas for providing proper atmosphere in FUM for Afghan students, especially Afghan faculty members. She hoped these students become the representatives of peace, friendship, commitment, and expertise when they return to their homelands.
