Mashhad’s Mayor Taqui Zadeh Khamsi welcomed a group of Persian students from 23 countries at the noon of August 13, 2018.

After the warm welcoming the mayor talked about the mayor election process in Mashhad city through Islamic council and asked the students about their reasons of learning Persian and their opinion of Mashhad.

The common answer between all the students was their passion towards the language and Iran, they also praised the people’s hospitality,the cleanliness and the beauty of the city. Some of them were more fluent in Persian which made them able to explainin details and cited verses from Iranian famous poets like Moulana.
