General Admission Requirements

Non-Iranian Citizenship

Applicants must not hold citizenship of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Valid Passport

A passport with at least one year of remaining validity is required

No Legal Restrictions

Applicants must not be legally barred from pursuing higher education

 

 Specific Admission Requirements

 A. Academic Requirements

 1. Bachelor’s Degree Admission Requirement:

Valid high school diploma (or equivalent).

All academic records (diploma and transcript) must first be verified by the relevant authorities in the applicant’s home country. Subsequently, they must receive final attestation from the Embassy or Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The academic transcript is required to have been issued in the applicant’s native language with its English translation attached—done by the university or an official translation center.

A minimum high school GPA of 65% (or equivalent) is required.

2. Master's Degree Admission Requirements

Valid bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

All academic records (diploma and transcript) must first be verified by the relevant authorities in the applicant’s home country. Subsequently, they must receive final attestation from the Embassy or Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The academic transcript is required to have been issued in the applicant’s native language with its English translation attached—done by the university or an official translation center.

A minimum undergraduate GPA of  65% in a discipline closely aligned with the intended Master’s program.

3. Ph.D. (Research-Based) Admission Requirements

Valid bachelor and master’s degrees in a relevant field

B. Age Requirements

Maximum age: 30 years (at time of application) for Bachelor’s Degree Applicants

Maximum age: 40 years (at time of application) for Master’s Degree Applicants.

Maximum age: 50 years (at time of application) for Doctoral Applicants

Application Fee

To submit your application for admission, a non-refundable fee of 1,000,000 IRR (Iranian Rials) must be paid via the online payment portal within the application system. This fee covers the processing and verification of your academic and identity documents

Please note that the above link provides the tuition fees for the previous academic year. The fees for the 2024-2025 academic year will be announced at a later date

 

Persian Language Training Course

Accepted applicants who do not have sufficient familiarity with the Persian language are required to attend a Persian language training course at one of the centers approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology before the official start of their academic program. They must also pass the final examination of these centers or the SAMFA examination.

  • The fee for the six-month Persian language course is 450 Euros.

  • The fee for the three-month course (for majors in Arabic Language & Literature, Quranic & Hadith Studies, English Language, and Islamic Studies in a Foreign Language) is 225 Euros.

Admission Process

Following the announcement of final acceptance results and the issuance of the admission letter—subject to receiving the "Code of Educational Qualification" approval—the University's Consular Affairs Office will proceed with issuing the study visa.
