 Regulations for Using University Dining Halls (Nutrition Administration)

Once you complete the enrollment process and obtain your student card, you can activate your meal card. To access dining services, log in to the Student Portal, navigate to the "Student Affairs" section, and select "Meal Card Activation." Note: Students living in dormitories must activate their meal cards after finalizing their accommodation arrangements.

Current meal pricing is set at 20,000 Rials per serving, with three meal options available in an open buffet format. Guests without prior reservations may dine for a flat fee of 60,000 Rials.

Access Requirements

• Entry requires personal attendance and facial recognition verification
• Important Note: The following students are not permitted to use dining facilities:
  ✓ Those not currently enrolled
  ✓ Students on academic leave
  ✓ Those who have completed thesis defense

Meal Selection Timeline

• Meals must be selected up to 48 business hours before serving time (deadline: 2:30 PM)
• Exception: For Saturday/Sunday meals, selection closes at 1:30 PM on Thursday

Meal Cancellation Policy

• Full refund: Available until 48 business hours before meal service
• Partial refund (50% of student meal rate):
  ✓ Available until 30 minutes before serving time that credited to the student's university service account

Last-Minute Meal Selection (Less than 48 Hours before Service)

• Available via the "Reservation Buyback" system link only if another student cancels their meal for that timeslot
• Priced at standard student rates (no additional fees)
• Note: Availability is not guaranteed as it depends on other students’ cancellations

Penalty for Unclaimed Meals

• If more than 3 selected meals go unused in a Persian calendar month:
  ✓ Full student-rate cost deducted from university account
  ✓ Applies to the 4th+ unclaimed meals (including the 4th)

Food Removal Policy

• Strictly prohibited with dining hall utensils
• Only permitted with disposable containers (self-provided)

Serving Portions

• Precisely standardized per Nutrition Office recipes
• No extra portions allowed (to ensure fair distribution)

Guest Meals

• Quota: 5 guest meals/month (1 meal/guest/day) at full price
• Requirements:
  ✓ Must have an active meal selection yourself
  ✓ Guests receive the same meal you selected (if available)
